AAMFT Approved Clinical Supervisor

Providing mentorship and supervision to clinicians and therapists-in-training is a rewarding aspect of my career. I welcome the opportunity to assist you in reaching your academic and career aspirations.

I am an AAMFT Approved Clinical Supervisor and have provided clinical supervision to graduate students and registered interns in agency settings. I also have experience leading LGBTQ and Gender Therapy consultation groups for both licensed and prelicensed clinicians. Additionally, I have led numerous trainings and workshops for clinicians in a variety of agency and organizational settings.

As a supervisor, I emphasize the importance of the self-of-the-therapist and honor the lived experiences that you bring to your career. I strive to enhance your innate and learned wisdom by creating a safe environment in which you feel heard and not judged, guided, empowered and honored.

Please contact me if you are interested in individual or group clinical supervision for yourself or your agency. I also provide supervision mentorship for those seeking the AAMFT-approved supervisor designation.

What is an AAMFT Approved Supervisor?

An AAMFT Approved Supervisor is a clinical professional who has received comprehensive education, experience and training to provide competent clinical supervision and mentorship to prelicensed marriage and family therapy trainees and registered interns. To become an AAMFT Approved Supervisor, a licensed clinician must obtain training and supervision for two or more years.
